    • Establishment and cultivation of energy crops
    • Supply and trading from utility to domestic scale
    • Processing and distribution
    • Biomass heating and power projects including equipment design and procurement
    • Fuel carbon and sustainability reporting and compliance
  • Membership of key bodies including the Forestry Commissions Wood Fuel Panel, The NFU energy crops group, and numerous government working groups on renewable heat

ECC projects have included: 

  • Closed loop biomass heat project

ECC conducted a full feasibility and design study for a self sufficient biomass heat project on behalf of a major government department, generating energy cost and carbon savings with embedded operational benefits.

  • Biomass production and waste-to-energy facility (In planning)

Working on behalf of a large energy services company, a waste-to-energy plant was designed with a co-located biomass processing facility utilising excess heat to produce industrial quality wood pellets

  • International biomass resource study

A study providing site specific recommendations for a UK power facility, following a review of current international resources.
